About Me

My name is Eileen Stapleton

After having my daughter 3 years ago, I was hit with horrible postpartum anxiety and insomnia. I went through an endless cycle of trying every medication and sleep hygiene tip I could get my hands on. The medications helped for a short time, until they all stopped working. The sleep hygiene tips never actually got at the root of my insomnia. I was completely hopeless when I finally found CBT-I. The 6 week course completely changed my thoughts and behaviors around sleep and I was finally able to get the rest I needed and deserved. After regaining the confidence in my ability to sleep, I knew my purpose was to help others struggling with insomnia, so I became a certified CBT-I sleep specialist. If you are like me and have tried every supplement, medication and sleep hygiene tip and still feel anxious when bedtime rolls around and feel deeply unrested in the morning, I want to help you. What is CBT-I?

CBT-I is a 6 week intensive course that can profoundly change your thoughts, feelings and behaviors around sleep and insomnia. It's effective for both short-term and chronic insomnia. Techniques include stimulus control, sleep consolidation and relaxation training. I will work one on one with you to understand your current sleep struggles and how we can work together to get you sleeping restfully again.
